Episode 3 of “Get it Together VT” is all about the VT Dep. of Taxes Current Use program. For most Vermont tax payers that own less than 25 acres, Current Use or dealings with the Division of Property Valuation and Review board, is not anything they will ever consider. That does not mean that our neighbors involved in farming, timber harvesting, etc. are not impacted by the policy. The implementation of Current Use directly impacts our local, and state economies and plays a part in whether or not we are supporting or hindering farming in Vermont.
