A lot is still happening behind the scenes to get WLUD community radio off the ground. In March 2027, WLUD will need to be broadcasting locally on 93.3 FM, and we know we want to be streaming online well before then, so that we can get the operational workflow down, and have time to get the programming in order, show hosts & DJs trained, and all of the other things that will inevitably come up. The online station can serve as good practice for the “real deal”, which is the FM broadcast. Thanks to our volunteer & lead engineer, Carmine, we have the “back end” IT infrastructure all in place. And thanks to the Okemo Valley TV Board of Directors, we will soon have the space for the studio. I say “soon” because we are about to embark on a building renovation project which will include the creation of the radio studio!
