Are you interested in community-based media or do you know someone who you feel would be a good fit on our Board of Directors? Nominations are now open for candidates interested in running for one of the 3 seats in this year’s election.
Our organization is at an inflection point, as we enter into a new chapter – which includes the launch of WLUD community radio – as we address various challenges while finding way to leverage new opportunities. We are simultaneously a community service organization, a TV station, (soon) a radio station, a media education center & training facility, and a public media institution.
Candidates must be age 18 or over and reside in one of the Towns in our designated service area: Ludlow, Mount Holly, Plymouth, Cavendish, Reading, or Andover. Ideal prospective candidates would have a strong familiarity with and connection to the community, a passion for public / community media, along with some fundraising experience.
