The Ludlow and Mount Holly School Boards’ “706b School Merger Committee” holds the first of two public forums. This forum was in the gym of Black River High School & Middle School. The purpose of the forum is inform and share information pertaining to the upcoming school district merger vote in Ludlow & Mount Holly on November 28. The current proposal is to form a single school district for the Towns of Ludlow & Mount Holly. The District would operate the elementary school in each Town for grades K-6 (LES and MHS), and offer school choice for grades 7 – 12. This would, effectively, close Black River High School & Middle School after 2018.
