Black River High School sophomore Natasha Fortin’s 1st place documentary for the 2018 Vermont History Day competition, taking a look at actress “Nichelle Nichols’ conflict and compromise regarding her role in Star Trek”. After winning 1st place at Vermont History Day in April, Natasha brought “Frontier to Change” to National History Day, outside of Washington, D.C. in June.
