Harry the Hypnopotamus is one of two books Dr. Linda Thomson has written to introduce children to hypnosis and the power of belief, expectation, and imagination and combines it with the relaxation response, breath-work, progressive muscle relaxation, imagery, rapport, and the power of words, metaphors and suggestions to create a powerful resource for health and healing.

Dr. Thomson is a nurse practitioner, the past president of the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis, and the New England Sociery of Clinical Hypnosis.
