From Sustainable Woodstock’s “Green Drinks” series: All Electric Lawn Care. Steven Wisbaum, the founder of the Mow Electric! Campaign has been encouraging the transition to residential and commercial E-lawn equipment in Vermont since 2016. In this presentation Steven will discuss the significant environmental and economic benefits of E-lawn care equipment, as well as both the opportunities and the challenges that still exist for the increased adoption of this rapidly emerging technology. He will also briefly discuss the valuable cash incentives/rebates that he convinced all seventeen of VT’s electric utility companies to offer.
