Calvin Coolidge is the only US President to be born on Independence Day. To commemorate July 4th each year, the Coolidge Foundation hosts a celebration at the on Plymouth Notch. The event features a 0.4-mile procession from the Village Green led by the Vermont National Guard to lay an official White House wreath at President Coolidge’s gravesite.
