Ludlow ARPA Public Info. Meetings- Village Trustees & Selectboard

The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) was a federal financial stimulus package in response to the COVD-19 pandemic. Municipalities throughout the country were eligible to receive ARPA funding, proportionate to population. One of the stipulations of the ARPA funds is that they must be allocated by the end of 2024. Since the Town & Village of Ludlow are treated as two separate municipal entities, each one received its own ARPA package. This is the first of 3 meetings among the two government bodies - the Village Trustees & Town Selectboard - to consider various projects and decide how the funds are to be spent. This recording is actually two meetings, held back-to-back on April 17th. It begins with the Village Trustees meeting and is immediately followed by the Selectboard meeting. The next ARPA meeting in Ludlow will be held on May 1st at the Town Hall and by Zoom.
