Ludlow resident Linda Thomson visited Israel earlier this year; not only did she tour the country, but she researched and learned a lot about the history of the region and its people, the conflicts between the populations and land disputes, and complexity of the politics. She is sharing her knowledge and experience of her travels in light of the devastation of the new war between Israel and the Islamist militant group Hamas, with the hope of peace.
